Kirsten Corley broke the unfortunate story on social media saying:

After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together. We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you -Chance & Kirsten

Chance and Corley have a long history together, having known each other since childhood. Chance fondly remembers meeting Corley at the young age of 9 back in 2003, during one of his mother’s work gatherings.

In a series of March 2019 tweets, he recounted “locking eyes with the prettiest girl I ever seen in my almost-a-decade of life on earth” when Corley appeared in the room to perform a Destiny’s Child song with her friends.

“I really shouldn’t even say locked eyes cause really, I was just staring at her; as she and her girls were conquering this choreography and mastering the art of lip-synching in a way even the most professional performers have yet to accomplish,” Chance gushed.
