Dave Chappelle Has Landed In Ghana In Time For The Black Star Line Music Festival

Dave Chappelle, a well-known American comedian, has arrived in Ghana to a warm welcome at the Kotoka International Airport.

After arriving on Tuesday, January 3, he was presented with a kente sash that had the ‘Beyond The Return’ inscription.

He’s will be attending the Black Star Festival in Ghana to be hosted by Vic Mensa and Chance The Rapper.

The presence of traditional dancers lifted the comedian’s spirits.

Mr. Chappelle joined in the group’s ‘adowa’ dancing to the beat of the traditional drums.

On Friday, December 6, a series of concerts by different artists will round up the Black Star Line Festival.

The Black Star Line Festival will take place in Accra, Ghana’s Black Star Square. It will feature a performance by the famous comedian on January 6, 2023.

The festival is a celebration of Pan-Africanism. It is being organized by two American rappers, Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa, who is from Ghana.

The purpose of the event is to strengthen ties between African-descended individuals and artists from across the world and Africa.

Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, Erykah Badu, T-Pain, Jeremih and Sarkodie are billed to perform at the concert.

The others are Tobe Nwigwe, Asakaa Boys, and M.anifest.
