Cookathon Contender Failatu Sheds Tears As Ghanaians Show Her Massive Support

Failatu Abdul Razak, Ghana’s contender for the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon, was overwhelmed with emotions as Ghanaians showered her with immense love, reminiscent of the support Afua Asantewaa received during her impressive sing-a-thon.

Consequently, tears streamed down the chef’s face when Frema Opare, the Chief of Staff, paid her a visit at the Tamale City Hotel, the venue for her remarkable cook-a-thon, where history was set to be made.

A heartfelt video shared on Facebook by Joy Prime captured the poignant moment when Faila couldn’t contain her emotions, while Frema embraced her tightly, offering words of encouragement to persevere until the very end.

In the footage, her assistant could be seen gently wiping away the tears, urging her to gather herself together.
