Drake Promises To Pay Fan’s Mortgage Worth Over $160,000
During his tour dubbed “It’s All A Blur—BBig As The What?, Drake was deeply moved when he received news about a devoted fan who was facing a significant financial burden.
The fan was at risk of losing her home if she couldn’t come up with over $160,000.
In a heartfelt gesture, the rapper announced that he would personally cover the entire amount needed to pay off her mortgage.
This touching moment took place at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO, on Saturday, March 2. While engaging with the crowd, Drake discovered that one of his fans had been struggling to make ends meet since her parents passed away, specifically with the mortgage on their house.
Taking a moment to connect with his fanbase, Drake selected an item from the crowd and read a message from the fan aloud. He then sought further clarification to ensure he fully understood her situation and how he could best assist her.
“Your mom passed away?,” he says in footage from the touching moment. “Oh this is the outstanding balance right here? That’s a lot of money right there. But you know what? Imma pay your whole mortgage for you. That’s 160 bands but, Imma pay out of my pocket, that’s gonna come from me.”

During a previous concert, Drake encountered a female concertgoer who threw her undergarments at her.
This incident occurred in August 2023 while Drake was performing on the Kia Forum stage, amidst a barrage of items being hurled at him.
“This is amazing. This has been the best night of my life,” Drake said before realizing what was on stage. “This was disgusting by the way. Somebody threw some boxers up here. That was foul, alright.”
There have been numerous instances of delightful surprises at Drake’s performances, including women brandishing bras on stage in recent weeks.
However, during his performance on Sunday night (August 13) at the Kia Forum, he had a solemn moment when he urged the audience to send good wishes and positive energy to his esteemed producer, Noah “40” Shebib.
“My brother hasn’t been feeling well,” he said. “I want to send him some love from this whole building because I believe that energy is exchanged. My brother 40 hasn’t been feeling well lately.”
