Ghana Jollof Can Transform Your Life- Nigerian Blogger Says After Tasting Chef Faila’s Jollof At Cookathon

Hours before the completion of Failatu Abdul-Razak’s remarkable cookathon, a Nigerian blogger known as Everything Eatable arrived at the Tamale City Hotel to witness the record-breaking event.

Speaking to reporters, particularly Citi FM, the young man expressed his admiration for the delectable dishes prepared by Faila, especially the renowned Jollof rice that has long been a subject of debate between Ghana and Nigeria, a situation that is buzzing with entertainment in Ghana.

Everything Eatable revealed that he had been closely following Faila’s journey to break the world record in cooking, as well as her mouthwatering culinary creations on the internet.

However, it was the sight of the photos and videos showcasing the Jollof rice that prompted him to travel from Nigeria to Tamale, eager to taste the dish and form his judgment on which country reigns supreme in Jollof preparation.

After indulging in the meal, he realized that Ghana truly excels in this domain, as their Jollof has the power to positively transform one’s life.

With an impressive total of 227 hours logged, Faila has easily surpassed the current record set by Irish Chef Alan Fisher (119 hours and 57 minutes). However, the official confirmation from Guinness World Records is still pending.

Driven by her unwavering determination and culinary expertise, she persevered and extended the marathon until January 10th.

Throughout this challenging endeavor, she captivated patrons with a delightful selection of local and international dishes, earning widespread admiration.

The city of Tamale, the capital of the Northern Region, became a vibrant center of support for Chef Failatu.

Dignitaries, celebrities, and influential figures from across Ghana rallied behind her, creating an atmosphere of excitement and encouragement.

Notable attendees included Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam (Minister of State at the Finance Ministry), Madam Akosua Frema Osei Opare (Chief of Staff), former First Lady Lordina Mahama, and former Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu.
