Ghanaians Have Started Apologising To Mahama- Asiedu Nketia

The return of John Draman Mahama to power is being sought after by many Ghanaians who previously treated him unfairly and ousted him from office, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said.

Asiedu Nketia believes that the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has presented the people with various options, and the most favourable choice is to vote for Mr. Mahama. He further reveals that in recent years, some of the most vocal critics of the NDC flagbearer during his presidency have expressed remorse and offered apologies, which could potentially translate into significant support for him in the upcoming 2024 elections.

“Those who are talking today are the same people who condemned John Dramani Mahama and over the past two years, people have coming out to apologise,” the NDC National Chairman stated on TV3‘s Hot Issues on Sunday, November 5

“People are coming out to say that they were misled into believing in certain things, and that is a stronger vote for President John Dramani Mahama.”

The astute Ghanaian politician was in the news recently when he expressed his willingness to partner with the party’s flagbearer, John Mahama if he is selected as the running mate for the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.

Nketia, also known as General Mosquito, has stated that he will not actively seek the position but is prepared to embrace the challenge if chosen.

While the NDC has not yet made any official announcements regarding this matter, there have been numerous media reports speculating on potential candidates, with Asiedu Nketia’s name being mentioned recently.

And according to a publication from Serwaa Amihere on her Twitter timeline, as quoted by Agoo TV, Asiedu Nketia has expressed interest in the position again.
