Gospel Musicians Must Perform At Night Clubs – Brother Sammy

Controversial gospel artiste, Brother Sammy, has asserted that gospel musicians should play in nightclubs because it’s a good location to win souls for Christ.

According to him, gospel musicians should play in clubs since God said he came to save sinners.

During an interview on Angel FM Kumasi 96.1, monitored by Try News Report, Brother Sammy said that those who once criticised his music promotion tactics in entertainment in Ghana are now engaging in the same conduct.

“What they use to criticise me with, today they are doing the same thing… When gospel musicians release a song, they give it to the worldly people for the song to trend… When I meet Amerado, I play and vibe with him,” he said.

“Me and Amerado are in the studio making a song. I have released a song with Strongman… and I have a song with a lot of people. I even did a song with Kofi B before he died. I’m also in the studio with Guru, and with all of these people, it’s a gospel song we are doing. But a Christian who’s still staying with their parents will say, God will beat or kill me.”

When asked if those songs he did with these artistes could be used in a religious setting, he said, “So at the moment, because of the way God has made me, people call me to perform at funerals and parties. You know, it’s not only in churches that you sing gospel music; the places that are good for gospel musicians to perform are clubs, but when you say the truth, people hate you.

“God says it was because of sinners that I came, so there is no gospel artiste who has more followers than Shatta Wale. God backs them,” he added.
