Hajia4Reall Deactivates All Social Media Platforms

In a surprising move that has left fans and followers puzzled, Ghanaian socialite and influencer Mona Faiz Montrage, known popularly as Hajia4reall, has deactivated all her social media platforms, sparking speculation and curiosity among her online community.

The popular personality, known for her glamorous lifestyle and vibrant presence on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, made the unexpected decision to go offline on Friday, February 23, 2024, leaving many wondering about the reasons behind her sudden departure.

Hajia4reall’s social media accounts, which boasted millions of followers and engagement, now display messages indicating that the accounts are no longer active. This abrupt exit has led to a flurry of questions from fans who are eager to know what prompted her to disconnect from her online presence.

While Hajia4Reall has not provided any official statement regarding her decision to deactivate her social media accounts, her official blogger, GH Hyper took to Instagram to announce that the “Badder Than Bad” singer deactivated her accounts to focus on her studies.

As it stands now, her verified Instagram account with handle @hajia4reall, is no longer active.#

This follows the recent ongoing legal case in the US, where she pleaded guilty on February 21, 2024, to her role in laundering the proceeds of romance scams that targeted vulnerable Americans, facing up to five years in prison for her crime.

In another development, it is said that Hajia may have her sentence reduced after allegedly revealing the identities of her accomplices.

This latest update was shared by Nigerian journalist and chemist Kemi Onlunyo, who has been consistently providing accurate information on this matter since it first emerged last year.

Here’s what she wrote:

Her Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music accounts are still active for fans who love to stream her music. Her Wikipedia page is intact, with the latest update as of February 2024.

Mona’s involvement in the scam case was to receive the money from the victims, either through bank accounts or money transfer services, and then transfer it to other members of the group, who were located in Ghana, Nigeria, and other countries. She also used some of the money for her own personal expenses, such as travel, shopping, and entertainment.

Mona has agreed to pay forfeiture and restitution of $2,164,758.41, which is the amount of money she received from the victims.

Meanwhile, she is scheduled to be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Paul A. Crotty on June 15, 2024.
