Despite all the odds against him in the upcoming 2024 elections, Alan Kyeremanten has received a positive prediction from Hopeson Adorye, a prominent member of his campaign team.
Adorye believes that Alan Kyeremanten will make history as Ghana’s first independent candidate to become president. Additionally, Adorye has predicted that there will be a runoff in the general election, with Kyeremanten facing off against Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Adorye shared his thoughts on Accra-based Neat FM.
“There’s going to be a runoff in the 2024 general election. The runoff will be between Alan and Bawumia,” he said. There’s going to be a miracle in Ghana because, for the first time, an independent candidate will be elected president and form a united government to develop Ghana.
Hopeson Adorye, along with Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Nana Ohene Ntow, and Boniface Abubakar Saddique, were expelled from the party due to their support for Alan after he broke away from the NPP. Despite their blatant violation of the Party’s Constitution, specifically Articles 3(5) (A)(4) and 3(9)(1), these individuals continue to claim membership in the NPP.
To clarify, Article 3(5) (A) (4) of the NPP Constitution mandates that all Party members “adhere to and publicly support the Party’s decision,” as stated by Justin Kodua Frimpong, the General Secretary of the NPP, in a press release issued on November 20, 2023.
