How Gyakie Reacted To Assault On Manager At AfroNation Portugal

George Britton has revealed how Gyakie reacted when she learned her manager Electro Mirror had been assaulted by security personnel at this year’s AfroNation Portugal.

Tru News Report previously reported that George Britton- the manager of Afrobeat star Camidoh, shared a series of videos showing how Mirror was beaten to a pulp and consequently rushed to the hospital after he clashed with security men at Afronation Portugal.

According to Britton who is the principal eyewitness to the incident, it occurred as a result of a misunderstanding between him and the local authorities regarding entry to the venue at the entrance. He was not permitted in, but Gyakie was. Details about what truly transpired have not been shared at the moment as this is still developing.

In a recent interview on Hitz FM, George Britton shed more light on the unfortunate incident by telling Doreen Avio that Gyakie got worried by the incident, especially after seeing the information on social media.

“I mean she was just traumatised about what happened and how it was flying online. It looked more negative than it probably appeared. That was why I had to take it off,” he said.

Asked if Gyakie’s manager, Electro Mirror was hurt during the altercation, George said Mirror instantly felt uncomfortable, a reason he was taken into the ambulance.

While the VVIP and the artists were on the upper terrace, they were informed that Gyakyie was at the entry and that they should reach out to a lady who was looking after them in order to enable Gyakie to gain admission to the location, according to George Britton, who gave an eye witness account of the incident on Hitz FM. He claimed that since they were unable to locate the woman, they were directed by someone else to go look for Gyakie.

“It took a bit of time till we could find her. Later they made Gyakie enter and said the rest should hold on till they cleared the ticketing and all that,” he noted.

“Then next thing I heard was the was fracas at the gate. I had to rush there. When I got there they were at each other’s throats,” he further stated.
