I Got Into Music Because Of A Guy- Tiwa Savage
Tiwa Savage has disclosed that her entry into the music industry was not solely driven by passion, but rather by her infatuation with a particular man.
According to her, it turns out that this man frequently associated with artists, and when Tiwa developed feelings for him, it coincided with her growing love for arts and entertainment.
During a recent interview with MTV Live, while promoting her new movie project, Water and Garri, Tiwa Savage openly shared this revelation.
She further revealed that her initial passion was acting, as she desperately wanted to be near her heartthrob.
Nevertheless, when discussing her most recent project, Tiwa Savage emphasized that music took precedence over acting.
She said; “I’ve always wanted to do acting. Acting was one of my first love before music. I got into music because I had a crush on a guy and he was always around musicians so I said ‘yeah, forget acting and just go into music.’”
In related news, Tiwa recently revealed the official release date for her much-awaited first film, Water And Garri.
The announcement was made on her social media platforms on April 4, where she disclosed that the movie is set to premiere on May 10, 2024, exclusively on the popular streaming platform, Prime Video.
Sharing a promotional flier on her page, Tiwa wrote: “My beautiful people, our movie @waterandgarrifilm has a date. See you May 10th @primevideo.”
