I Vowed To God To Take Care Of The Needy – Osebo Shares Gripping Story About His Breakthrough

Osebo the Zaraman was overcome with emotion as he shared his inspiring journey from rags to riches on live television in an interview monitored by Tru News Report.

During his appearance on Captain Smart’s ‘Maakye’ program on Onua TV, the Ghanaian fashionista and philanthropist recounted his remarkable transformation after his life-changing trip to Italy.

Recounting the sacrifices made by his mother, Osebo revealed that she had sold everything she owned to ensure he had the opportunity to seek a better life abroad.

With great enthusiasm, he shared how he had informed his spiritual mentor, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, about his upcoming journey. In a gesture of faith, Apostle Kwadwo provided Osebo with a photograph of himself, which was deemed suitable for his passport. He assured Osebo that God would guide him safely to his destination.

At the airport, Osebo encountered a significant hurdle faced by many black immigrants: the risk of being sent back home due to fraudulent documents. However, fate intervened when the picture of Apostle Kwadwo fell from Osebo’s passport, momentarily distracting the immigration officials.

Intrigued by the regal appearance of Apostle Kwadwo, one of the officials inquired about his identity. Quick on his feet, Osebo claimed that Apostle Kwadwo was his father. Convinced by his story, the officials stamped his passport and permitted him to stay in Italy.

Osebo’s story is a testament to the power of determination, faith, and the unwavering support of loved ones. His journey from humble beginnings to success serves as an inspiration to many, reminding us that with perseverance and the grace of God, anything is possible.

The video below shared by the Facebook page of Onua TV has all the information:

In a previous interview with YEN, Richard Brown, also known as Osebo, expressed his belief that donating money to orphanages is more meaningful than contributing to churches.

The renowned stylist reasoned that the money given to churches does not directly reach God, so it would be more impactful to direct it towards orphans and widows, who are close to God’s heart.

Osebo drew upon the parable of the Good Samaritan to illustrate the importance of assisting those in need rather than seeking attention within the confines of a church. He emphasized that God resides within people’s hearts, rather than being confined to a physical structure.

Forget about giving in church; donate it to the orphanages. Or if you have a widow or orphan in the church, you can give it to them. I don’t believe in paying tithes. To pay tithe, I would instead go to an orphanage home.

Who are you paying it to? Who is sitting in the church? The Almighty God is a living one, so if you want a favour in his sight, you must seek first from men because you can never see God do those things for him. When you enter a church, it’s people you see, not a God. A church is just a building. God lives in our hearts.
