I’m Building School In Ghana—American Rapper Jah Rule Reveals

American rapper Jah Rule has announced his plans to construct a school in Ghana, a development he enthusiastically shared on Twitter.

Expressing his fondness for children, the celebrated rapper expressed his eagerness to embark on this project, which aims to provide an ultramodern educational facility for thousands of kids, possibly at little or no cost.

Jah Rule took to Twitter to write:

I’m also building a school in Ghana can’t wait to go and break ground… Rule love the kids!!! 🧡☀️🌅

Jah Rule’s announcement came in response to Michael Blackson’s reminder to Katt Williams that he, too, utilizes his fame and resources to contribute to humanity, as exemplified by his school-building initiative in Ghana.

Katt had garnered significant attention online following his scathing critique of his fellow industry professionals, a topic that continues to dominate discussions across various social media platforms.

Recall that on January 3, 2023, Michael inaugurated his educational institution, the Michael Blackson Academy, in his hometown within the Agona-Nsaba central region, commemorating the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at his residence.

“Today is the greatest day of my life because I’ve finally accomplished what I always wanted to do which is giving these kids a chance to be great,” Blackson tweeted. “Greatness starts with education and foundational education shouldn’t come with financial barriers.”

In December 2022, Blackson first announced that his school was completed thanks to the help of his fans.

Michael Blackson Academy’s mission is “educating our future leaders.”

“Finally it’s all done and the kids in my village will all go to school for free,” he wrote. “Thanks to all my fans that supported me thru out the years, every ticket you bought to my show helped a kid.”

In addition to running a school, Blackson is behind the Michael Blackson Foundation. According to him, he launched the non-profit organization after being inspired to create change due to what he witnessed during his upbringing.

“Growing up I always envisioned myself giving back to the community and my country,” he wrote on the foundation’s website. “I haven’t traveled back home in a long while but as soon as I did, there were certain things that was so beautiful and touched my heart. There were so many children wandering in the streets during school hours which had caused for me to become curious as to why they weren’t in school.”

He continued: “I found out that the children were so eager to learn but couldn’t attend schools because of their economic conditions. That struck a cord in me telling me this is what I need to do for my country. I need to figure out a way to provide families with a quality education regardless of economic status and that is when the Michael Blackson Foundation was formed.”

Prioritizing the power of education, Blackson’s foundation provides scholarships to youth who can’t afford a quality education.
