It’s My Mom’s Prayers- KiDi Reveals Secret To His Success

During a recent interview with Berla Mundi on TV3, KiDi acknowledged that his mother’s prayers have played a significant role in his successful career.

“I have a prayerful mom; I am grateful. I do pray, but my mom’s prayers always keep me,” he expressed.

The multi-award-winning singer also took the opportunity to address rumors about his mental state and clarify the circumstances surrounding his past heartbreak. While he acknowledged that the heartbreak was a contributing factor, KiDi emphasized that it was just one of several personal challenges he faced. Overall, KiDi credited his strength and resilience to his mother’s unwavering support and prayers.

“No, it was a lot of things. After SHS, I promised I would never give my heart to a girl to break…I have collected my first share,” he revealed.

Despite the obstacles that come with being in the music business, KiDi made it plain that he wouldn’t give in to peer pressure or attribute his problems to his music career alone.

“I don’t see pressure; I won’t put pressure there. As much as a lot of things were happening, I wouldn’t say it had to do with that. Many things were happening in the background; I cannot say, they are personal. That, compounded with so many other things, can be a little bit overwhelming,” he explained.

KiDi credited his mother’s prayers for providing him with strength and resilience. “I have a prayerful mom, I am grateful. I do pray, but my mom’s prayers always keep me,” he expressed.
