Sonnie Badu Captivate Audience At His ‘Rhythms Of Africa’ Concert

The highly anticipated event of Ghanaian gospel singer Sonnie Badu’s Rhythms of Africa concert took place on Saturday, December 9, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

Famous Ghanian gospel musicians Joe Mettle, Nacee, MOG Music, Perez Musik, and other notable singers showcased their exceptional talents with spirited performances. When the famous gospel musicians took the stage, they blew the crowd away with a string of hit songs. All of them gave superb performances that brought the audience into God’s presence at the well-planned gospel event. 

Empress Gifty, Kwaku Manu, Abeiku Santana, Piesie Esther, and Nigerian artists Neon Adejo and Preye Odede were among the well-known figures seen at the highly anticipated event.

Sonnie Badu is a popular gospel musician who has received numerous awards in entertainment in Ghana and beyond for his talent in singing, songwriting, philanthropy, being a producer, TV presenter, and author. He has received multiple accolades and honours for his creative achievements, including the prestigious title of Best Gospel Artiste at the 2010 African Music Awards (AMA).

His energetic style of leading congregations into God’s presence, combined with his distinctive blend of personal worship and high-class visuals, is touching lives all over the globe.

Sonnie Badu recently suffered a domestic injury before his highly anticipated concert in Accra. The singer underwent major surgery as a result of the accident that occurred on Thursday, November 30, 2023. 

Sonnie, who is the founder and leader of the Rock Hill church in the United Kingdom, took to Facebook to apologize to churches and media houses for any inconvenience caused by his absence from scheduled events during his recovery. He also reassured fans and the people of Ghana that his concert, ‘Sonnie Badu Live In Concert – Rhythms of Africa,’ will still take place as planned on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
