Nobody Owe You Anything- Amanda Jissih Slams Edward Akwasi Boateng

Entertainment critic and radio presenter Amanda Jissih has criticized gospel artiste Edward Akwasi Boateng, stating that nobody owes him anything.

This statement was made on the latest episode of United Showbiz, where she discussed the apparent disagreement between MOGmusic and Edward regarding financial assistance.

Recall that (MOGmusic) recently addressed the allegations made by his senior colleague Edward Akwasi Boateng regarding an incident at an event.

According to the prevailing issue, there was an agreement for MOGmusic to provide financial assistance to Mr Boateng to help with his financial challenges.

However, MOGmusic said due to Mr. Boateng’s absence at the designated time during the event, the promise could not be fulfilled. MOGmusic clarified this situation during an appearance on the United Showbiz program.

“When the programme started, I walked to him [Akwasi Boateng] and we talked… After a while, I looked at his sitting position and he wasn’t there.

“I asked my team to look for him but he was nowhere to be found. Later on, the people who were supposed to be honoured were called on stage and given their plaques. So, it’s not true that he was not acknowledged.

“I had no malice against him. He did not get the support because he was absent during the presentation… I asked my manager to contact him later on but I was told he [ Akwasi Boateng] was not reachable. We have plans to present the package to him, it’s still available,” he said.

In response to the matter, Amanda expressed her frustration with Mr. Boateng’s growing sense of entitlement, emphasizing that no one is obligated to him in any way.

“There was just so much going on with him [MOGmusic], so it wasn’t that he ignored or had forgotten. Getting to the end of the show, he [MOGmusic] tried looking for him [Edward], but he wasn’t there. The plan was that after everything, they would make their accounts and honour their pledge,” said Amanda Jissih.

“Times are hard and so if someone promises you something, you need to be aware that they do not owe you. It’s not by force that they must give you something. That sense of entitlement should die down. We acknowledge that you have worked hard but you are not entitled to anyone’s money. There was no point in going to grant interviews,” Amanda added.
