‘Safe And Sound’ – Stonebwoy Breaks Silence On Robbery Reports
Popular dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has assured fans he is fine after reports surfaced in the late hours of Wednesday, August 16, 2023, that he had been robbed in the United States.
However, the artiste posted a tweet on Twitter indicating that he is fine, a few hours after the robbery incident went viral on social media despite the late hour.
But he didn’t confirm or reject reports of the robbery attack, but instead encouraged concertgoers to come see him perform in Atlanta on August 17. “Very Safe and Sound! ATL Let’s Meet Tomorrow at The @masquerade_atl 7pm. Tickets 🎫 http://bio.to/stonebwoy,” Stonebwoy said.
A few hours after posting a video of his shopping trip to the trendy Atlanta boutique, Icebox Diamond & Watches, rapper Stonebwoy and his crew allegedly became the targets of armed robbers.
Ghanaian blogger DJ Hyper confirmed the news in a Facebook post, which reads: “BREAKING: Ghanaian Reggae Dancehall star Stonebwoy and his team robbed by armed men in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. According to sources, Stonebwoy was done shopping at the Icebox when he was ambushed just outside the shop by armed assailants who fired at them and robbed them.”
He is presently touring the United States, having already performed in Washington, D.C., Boston, Hatford, Connecticut, and New York City. He will perform in Atlanta tomorrow.
