Sam George ‘Schools’ Gabby Okyere Darko Over Jesus’ Crucifixion

Sam George, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and Gabby Otchere-Darko, from the opposing New Patriotic Congress (NPP), have engaged in a heated debate regarding the significance of Jesus’ crucifixion.

The discussion which Tru News Report came across, took place on X platform and sparked controversy.

In the spirit of Easter, Gabby posted on X saying if the majority is always right, people should remember that it was the voice of the people that ultimately led to the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth.

However, Sam George held a contrasting view. According to him the crucifixion of Jesus was a fulfilment of prophecy and scripture. He believes that it was part of Jesus’ divine purpose to be crucified and that the voice of the majority, guided by God, ultimately led to salvation for Christians today.

Gabby stated:

If you think the majority is always right just remember that it was the voice of the people that crucified Jesus of Nazareth.

In response, Same George said:

The crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth was fulfilment of prophecy and scripture. It is the divine mandate of his birth to be crucified. The voice of the majority was ordained by God and led to salvation for Christians today. Let’s pay more attention to the details Senior.
