Shatta Wale Can Fill 02 Arena- Papi Of 5Five Fame

Papi, known for his fame with the group 5Five, has confidently stated that Shatta Wale is the the sole Ghanaian artist capable of filling the renowned 02 Arena.

The discussion surrounding which Ghanaian artist has the potential to sell out a concert at the 02 Arena has grown more intense following Medikal’s remarkable success at the relatively smaller 02 Indigo.

However, considering the achievements of Nigerian artists at the same venue, fans in Ghana continue to wonder when Ghanaian artiste can reach the same level as their Nigerian counterparts.

It is in light of this that Papi expressed to DJ Slim on his Loud Lounge podcast that Shatta Wale possesses the necessary fan base and repertoire of songs to fill the 02 Arena.

Similarly, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo recently dismissed any doubts regarding Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale’s potential to pack the O2 Arena for a concert. Arnold firmly believes that Wale can accomplish this feat by partnering with the right promoters in the UK.

According to Arnold, although Shatta Wale has a huge fan base in the UK and other places worldwide, being able to sell out the O2 Arena goes beyond just his popularity and fan base.

“Wale has been in the business for over 20 years, he is also popular in the UK, Dubai and other places but you see it goes beyond the praises and popularity we see. He has the catalogue and sword.

“What he has to do now is to ensure he does not use one promoter. There is one promoter in the UK who can make that possible and that’s Live Nation, he can walk up to Live Nation and discuss his pedigree with them and for his managers to prove to Live Nation that this is what he can do,” he said on Onua FM
