Shatta Wale Drags Serwaa Amihere And Other Celebrities Over Afua Asantewaa Endorsement

Shatta Wale has publicly criticized Serwaa Amihere and other celebrities due to their involvement in the ongoing controversy surrounding Afua Asantewaa.

The issue began when some celebrities, including Serwaa Amihere, took jabs at Nigerians for not supporting Afua, while Ghanaians were actively promoting Hilda Baci.

Serwaa posted on Twitter thus:

Has any Nigerian tweeted in support of Afua?

This conversation has sparked widespread discussion online, reigniting the longstanding rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria.

However, Shatta Wale believes that the focus of the criticism is misplaced. He has gone as far as labelling Serwaa Amihere and other Ghanaian celebrities as foolish and uncultured individuals.

Listen to Wale drag these celebrities for delving into trivialities:

At 9:00 a.m. today, Afua Asantewaa achieved the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon by an individual, singing for a remarkable 105 hours.

Sunil Waghmare, an Indian singer, currently holds the record, but Afua Asantewaa has set her sights on surpassing it by singing for 115 hours. This would establish a new Guinness World Record for the longest sing-a-thon, following the previous record set in 2012.

Since she began her singing marathon at midnight on Sunday, Afua Asantewaa’s unwavering dedication and determination have become a source of inspiration for musicians throughout the country.

Esteemed artists such as Shatta Wale, Sista Afia, Sarkodie, Kwabena Kwabena, Efya, and Kuami Eugene, among others, have travelled to the Akwaaba village to show their full support.

It should be noted that the influence of this project goes beyond the boundaries of Ghana as Afua’s expedition has garnered global recognition, showcasing the country’s artistic talent and cultural abundance on an international platform.
