Stonebwoy Features Shaggy, Angelique Kidjo, PLUS Other International Artiste On New Album

Stonebwoy has mentioned that his fifth studio album will be thrilling during an interview on Hot97 FM in the US.

The Ghanaian Dancehall superstar talked about the delectable foreign collaborations he included on the record.

“There are some heavy names on there. I don’t even know if I can even release it right now but I could drop it and I am going to drop it over here [in America].”

The upcoming album, he disclosed, features Shaggy, the legendary reggae artist from Jamaica. He said: “Imagine Stonebwoy and Shaggy; Stonebwoy and Angelique Kidjo; Stonebwoy and Dexta Daps. The Dexta Daps collaboration will be “for the ladies,” he later disclosed.

There are other artists on Stonebwoy’s fifth album besides those who are popular or financially successful.

The musician who goes by the popular moniker 1Gad said he has “niche market female artistes on there” as an example because he is confident in the “product” that will come from their collaboration given their ability.

He stated that he wants something that is “organic” and not coerced. He boasted, “We have some beautiful things [on] there. “Be at ease, “The multi-award-winning Ghanaian artist stated that some Amapiano and Reggae sounds will be featured on the project.

“We have Amapiano on there. Amapiano is actually the most popular style of music out of South Africa right now which is also weaving through the world. We’re merging it with the Afrobeats proper,” the father of two noted. I put [the] Dancehall flavour and my style over it as well.

In fact, the album features one of the biggest artistes and DJs from South Africa [called] Maporisa. You’re going to get a Reggae song on there. You’re going to get beautiful songs,” he promised.
