Tory Lanez’s Appeal Denied As He Heads To Prison For 10 Years

It has now been officially established that Tory Lanez is going to prison for 10 years, effectively concluding the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case.

Meghann Cuniff, a Law & Crime reporter who has been closely following the case since its inception in the Los Angeles County Courthouse, confirmed that Lanez was officially imprisoned on Thursday.

During his bail motion, Lanez was accompanied by representatives from United the People, who approved his request for bail. Jose Baez, renowned for his defense of Casey Anthony, was unable to appear in court on Lanez’s behalf due to prior commitments.

Lanez requested that Judge Herriford permit him to reside in the same residence as his son, and he intends to rent a home from a provider of exotic homes and cars if his request is granted.

Unfortunately for Lanez, his pleas fell on deaf ears. “Tory Lanez is officially headed to prison,” Cuniff wrote in her Tweet. “The motion will be denied and proceedings will be concluded. Thank you,” Judge Herriford said. Lanez grinned at his supporters, including his father and friends from the Unite the People legal services group, before being led out.”

Tory Lanez has exhausted all available avenues of appeal in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. This development follows shortly after it was disclosed that the rapper, known for his hit song “Lie to Me,” declined a four-year plea bargain and opted to rely on the California jury’s decision instead. According to “sources close to the case,” prosecutors had offered the Canadian artist a four-year plea deal earlier in the proceedings, as reported by VladTV last month.

Tory, who has consistently maintained his innocence, reportedly rejected the agreement and decided to go to trial instead. Nevertheless, his choice backfired, as he was convicted guilty on all counts in December after a two-week trial.
