DaniLeigh Arrested On 3 Felony Charges For DUI Hit-And-Run That Left Alleged Victim With A Fractured Spine
Rapper DaBaby’s baby mama, singer DaniLeigh, was taken into custody early Tuesday morning in Miami Beach, where police say she was engaged in a DUI hit-and-run that left a motorcycle rider with a serious back injury.
On Tuesday morning in Miami Beach, 28-year-old DaniLeigh was arrested at 8:15 a.m. after reportedly trying to leave the scene of the collision and charged with driving under the influence, fleeing the scene of an accident, and assault.
The performer, whose given name is Danielle Leigh Curiel, was arrested and sent to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Centre, where she was later freed after posting a $9,500 bail.
According to reports, DaniLeigh was driving recklessly early in the morning on Miami Beach when she crashed into a motorcycle driver. After officers noticed a strong odour of alcohol, they ran a breathalyser test, which revealed a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.148, nearly double the limit.
The alleged victim was sent to a nearby hospital, where he received treatment for injuries that were not life-threatening, such as a lacerated kidney and a fractured spine.
