Fan Begs Musician For Money To Start Sakawa
Despite the odds, a young man managed to sneak into Joeboy’s DM to request money for an illegal business venture.
The Afropop singer, whose real name is Joseph Akinwale, recently shared some of the bizarre messages he receives from fans on his Twitter page.
Among the four DMs he posted, two were focused on money, while the other two were centered on sexual intimacy.
However, the most attention-grabbing message was from someone who asked Joeboy for N500,000 to start a cyber fraud business, commonly known as Yahoo Boy. The individual pleaded for the funds to purchase a laptop and begin the fraudulent operation.
“Boss abeg empawa me with 500k. I wan buy laptop do yahoo. Abeg reason me,” the message read.
Sharing the snapshots, Joeboy wrote; “Only God Can Save Me 🤦🏽♂️”
