I Won’t Date A Musician- Gyakie
Gyakie has shared in an interview that she is not open to romantic relationships with fellow musicians or industry players.
According to her, love is a wonderful thing, but she prefers to keep it separate from her professional life.
She mentioned that navigating such situations can be complicated, but she chose not to elaborate further.
She made this known in an interview with 3FM.
I won’t advise myself to do that if I have another version of me. I wouldn’t advise that because it can be very, very tricky but you never know.
Love is a beautiful thing. I wouldn’t say its wrong but at the same time, right now, I wouldn’t advise myself to be with an industry person.
On the same platform, Gyakie shared her preference for recording in a dimly lit environment.
She emphasized the importance of creating an atmosphere that encourages introspection and enhances creative inspiration.
The experience becomes even more enriched for Gyakie when collaborating with her favourite producers.
According to her, listening to the beats and envisioning the perfect storyline to complement them is a crucial part of her creative process.
“I like recording in the dark When I’m working with my favorite producers, it’s always a plus for me. I listen to the beats and try to imagine what storyline would work with them. If I’m in a particular situation at the moment of recording, it makes it easier because I’m able to actually talk about what I’m experiencing.
“But if I’m not, sometimes I create a story in my mind and then I write that story into the song, she concluded. Gyakie conveyed gratitude for the teamwork involved in music production, emphasizing the significance of establishing a solid partnership with her producers.
