Inspector Twumasi’s Trial: Maa Adwoa Was Due To Travel To UK- Father Reveals

The father of 27-year-old Victoria Dapaah, better known as Maadwoa, who was allegedly shot by her policeman-boyfriend, has revealed that her slain daughter was scheduled to travel to the United Kingdom before her unfortunate demise.

The deceased’s father who was abroad at the time of the terrible tragedy said “her passport and everything was ready, and was about taking her to the United Kingdom, and unfortunately this happened, my dreams have been shattered”

However, Mr Bruce emphasized that he has confidence in the legal system and expects that justice will be done.

Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, a member of the Ashanti Regional police command’s SWAT team, who had previously admitted to the crime, entered a not-guilty plea during the committal procedures. The suspect was handed over to the high court by the court presided over by his worshiper, Samuel Buaben Quansah.

Aggrieved family and friends gave the court three months to convict the suspect.
“If there is a delay in jailing the suspect and we see no action taken within four months, the court will hear from us.”

Tycoon as he is popularly known was stationed in Manhyia Palace among Palace security.
He allegedly shot his girlfriend 6 times according to police sources over a cheating allegation.

According to a close friend of the deceased, the police officer Twumasi Ahmed and the deceased broke up and that triggered the actions of the policeman.

The deceased (Maa Adwoa) reportedly rebuffed the police officer’s pleas to change her mind about breaking up. The guy allegedly pulled out a side arm and shot the woman numerous times till she passed away.

In a previous report shared by Tru News Report, the policeman at the centre of the Kumasi murder was captured on a tape revealing why he shot Maa Adwoa at Kumasi’s Adum Dufie Towers last week.

A purported leaked tape of a phone call between the wanted police inspector and another woman, after he committed the heinous crime, has surfaced online.

The woman on the other end of the phone is audibly panting and wondering if the lady has passed away in the aforementioned recording, which has since gone popular on social media after being debated on Kumasi-based Kessben FM.

The man revealed he has invested heavily in the deceased and done everything humanely possible to make her loyal and faithful to him but she broke her vows. He then told the recipient of his call that he has shot Maa Adwoa and fled the scene.

The lady asked if Maa Adwoa was hit by a bullet and whether she was alive but the officer asked her to keep quiet and not to whisper a word about what he has told her to a third party. He then revealed that he was going to commit suicide.
