Katt Williams Blasts Kevin Hart, Diddy, Steve Harvey, Others On Club Shay Shay

In a recent episode of Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, renowned comedian Katt Williams took center stage as he unleashed a barrage of criticism against fellow comedians and entertainers, including Kevin Hart, P. Diddy, Cedric the Entertainer, and Steve Harvey.

During the nearly three-hour-long appearance, Williams accused Cedric the Entertainer of plagiarism, claiming that the fellow comedian lifted one of his jokes “verbatim” during the 1990s. He didn’t mince words when calling out Kevin Hart, labeling him an industry “plant” and challenging the authenticity of his success in Hollywood. Williams alleged that Hart already had movie deals upon arriving in Los Angeles and questioned the legitimacy of his sold-out shows.

The controversial comedian also shared insights into his own experiences, recounting instances where he rejected compromising offers for opportunities. Williams claimed that disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein once offered to perform oral sex on him and revealed turning down a $50 million opportunity to “protect my integrity,” emphasizing his refusal to take shortcuts in his career.

Williams targeted Steve Harvey, accusing him of plagiarizing the premise of Mark Curry’s sitcom “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper” for “The Steve Harvey Show.” He further criticized Harvey’s acting abilities, asserting that he lacks the “range” and likening his appearance to “Mr. Potato Head.”

The podcast also shed light on Williams’ interactions with other entertainers. He dismissed claims by Rickey Smiley that Williams’ role in “Friday After Next” was initially intended for him, and Williams introduced a clause in his contracts, stating he would not work with Smiley unless he portrayed a character in a dress.

In response to the explosive revelations, some of the targeted individuals offered their reactions. Cedric the Entertainer dismissed Williams’ claims as “Revisionist History” in an Instagram comment, emphasizing that his career cannot be reduced to one joke. Kevin Hart responded, calling Williams’ comments “honestly sad,” and Rickey Smiley addressed the situation on his radio show, expressing sadness about the impact on his children but wishing Williams the best.

Despite the controversy, Williams expressed sympathy for certain celebrities, such as Taraji P. Henson, commending her candid discussion on being underpaid in Hollywood. He also criticized the public spectacle around Kanye West’s mental health, questioning the morality of watching someone with a mental illness.
