Samini Replies Wiyaala Over ‘Up & Coming’ Artiste Rant

Samini has wasted no time in addressing Wiyaala’s recent outburst regarding the promotional flyers for the upcoming concert at the Royal Cosy Hills Safari Resort on January 1st, 2024

Although the flyer prominently showcases the headliners, such as Samini, Kuame Eugene, Fancy Gadam, and Wiyaala herself, she voiced her discontent with the way her image was portrayed and positioned.

According to her, this arrangement diminishes her significance and undermines her brand. Wiyaala wants to emphasize that she is an established artiste and should be accorded the respect she deserves.

Samini responded to Wiyaala by stating that he did not know the situation, including the specific artwork in question.

He expressed his intention to involve the organizers to promptly address the issue. Additionally, he expressed surprise at the change of his #SaminiFest to #SafariFest and clarified that while #SafariFest is indeed his concept, it was not intended for January 1st.

The evergreen artist revealed that the organizers did not consult him or request a picture for this particular artwork, which raised concerns about the approval process.

He further pledged to take immediate action to have the controversial promotional material removed and apologized to Wiyaala for any inconvenience caused. He assured her that he would personally ensure that the necessary corrections were made. Samini shared:

I’m honestly not aware of this particular artwork dear sis. Will get the organizers to do the needful. They didn’t even ask me for a picture for this particular artwork. Whoever did it decided to change my #SaminiFest to #safarifest. #safarifest is also my concept but not for January 1st. I wonder who directed and approved this to be shared but All those details need to be addressed before there can be a show. Pls accept my apology and trust me to get them to pull this down asap. Stay blessed and see you in #jirapa soon
