Social Media Trolls Are Unhappy Set Of People- KiDi
KiDi has observed that most trolls come to social media to rain insults at celebs are a bunch of unhappy people.
The Lynx Entertainment signee revealed in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz that he took a brief break from the music industry to think about various parts of his life, including how to deal with trolls and false information spreading online.
He now realizes that many people who behave negatively online are probably projecting their frustrations and unhappiness onto others, particularly famous people like himself.
“I now know that when people come on social media and say the things they say, it’s not really about me. Some of them are unhappy in life. If you are unhappy, you take that out on anything and everything,” he said.
In the same vein, days after wowing his fans at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) to put to bed stroke rumours purported to have afflicted him, KiDi has granted an interview to officially speak about the wild speculations that dominated social and mainstream media weeks ago.
The 2022 VGMA Artiste of the Year recently shared a message on Facebook debunking the unsubstantiated report alongside a video which saw him depicting a calm demeanour while standing by a water body and sipping a cup of tea.
His message read;
A little under two months ago, I made the painful decision of cancelling my tour to take care of my health that included taking time off social media. In that time, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family, friends, fans and the brands i work with. You all made me feel incredibly loved in this difficult period and i cant appreciate you enough.
Unfortunately, a few bad actors took this as an opportunity to spread false stories that got a lot of you very concerned. While i do not want to give it any more attention, i want to categorically address that those stories were false.
I am glad to be back to doing what i love most; creating music and performing for you. Thanks for sticking it out with me.
Love, KiDi
