You Are All Wrong- Akrobeto Tells Ghanaians Over His Encounter With Jordan Ayew

Real News host and ace actor Akrobeto has come to the defence of Jordan Ayew over his encounter with him when he visited the Black Stars in camp prior to their crucial AFCON qualifier match against the Central African Republic.

Akrobeto paid the team a visit during their final training session at the Baba Yara Stadium prior to the game. The Black Stars players, notably Mohammed Kudus, Dede Ayew, Baba Rahman, and Richard Ofori, were enthused by a video of Akrobeto’s visit. Kudus and other celebrities stood to greet Akrobeto as a sign of respect for the legendary actor, with Dede Ayew giving him a bear hug.

But unlike many of his coworkers, Akrobeto’s attendance at the training session didn’t seem to bother Jordan Ayew. The Crystal Palace forward appeared more preoccupied with his phone while seated on the bench than with the on-field actor. His actions prompted a lot of online criticism.

However, Akrobeto, during the latest edition of his satire show Real News on UTV, defended Jordan Ayew and mentioned that he did nothing wrong. He explained he had already met Jordan Ayew, and they exchanged pleasantries, which were not captured by the camera.

He said it was the second meeting that was filmed. He also maintained that Jordan was the first person he met at the Black Stars camp because he was not training with the rest of the team. He emphasized that because they had already met, there was no need for him to bubble with excitement, as Ghanaians are suggesting.

Here’s what Akrobeto said;

Some people were saying Jordan Ayew did not get up to greet me. Please, please, he was the first person I talked to when I got there. He was not training with the rest of the team and was sitting alone so I was able to talk to him for about five minutes before the rest of the squad came and I greeted all of them. I had talked to him already so there was no need for him to get up to greet me. I beg those saying it that way that it is totally wrong. All of them were happy and cheerful for my visit. Well done, Black Stars.
