Ola Michael Storms UTV With Designer Shoes Worth $1200 After Heavy Trolling

Ola Michael unveiled his brand new shoes during today’s (August 19, 2023) edition of the United Showbiz, days after he was mercilessly trolled over the ‘Abongo’ shoes he wore to the same program.

The popular pundit, critic, and filmmaker said he got his new shoes from Jesu Segun, a top brand known worldwide, adding that the footwear cost a whopping $1200. He unboxed the green shoes just before the program commenced and put them on while clapping back at the cameraman, who zoomed in on his previous shoes that went viral last week.

He then added that this time around, Shatta Wale got nothing on him as his shoes are very expensive and he (Wale) can’t afford them in his entire life.

Ola’s previous footwear recently garnered attention and sparked discussion following its appearance on the August 12, 2023, episode of UTV’s United Showbiz. The camera closely zoomed in on the shoes, which prompted a flurry of social media comments, with some users criticizing Ola Michael’s choice of footwear as faded.

Notably, Shatta Wale was among those who joined the conversation to lambast Ola. In response to the criticism, Ola Michael sought to clarify the matter on his radio show, explaining that the perceived fading was a result of colour combinations and the lighting conditions of the night show.

Well, as it looks now, after the heavy trolling, Ola has ‘triumphantly’ responded in style, and this will possibly form another bout of discourse on social media and the grapevine soon.
