Which Strategist Takes Ghana Cedis From 4 to 12 Against The Dollar? – Mahama Jabs Bawumia

Former President John Dramani Mahama has urged Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to stop bragging about his strategic skills since he took the cedi from GHC4 to GHC12.

He has advised Dr. Bawumia to stop concentrating on him and instead work towards his goal of being the party’s presidential nominee.

John Mahama stated on the KSM show that he does not understand why the vice president would make him a campaign target when there are serious concerns about his handling of the economy and the New Patriotic Party is still debating its nominee for president.

“When I was in office, he just kept waxing about, you know, giving lectures about how he was going to handle the economy, how we were incompetent, and all that, and I said, Look, you’ve never been in office; you and your presidential candidate. You don’t know what it takes to be in office, and they have learnt it. Today, look at them.

“Their opponent, well, one of their presidential flagbearers, he said ‘strategist? Excuse me.’ Nobody takes the cedi from GHC4 to GHC12. He should be answering those questions. And it’s a primary issue in the NPP, so he should concentrate on telling the NPP and the country what he can do. I don’t know why I am boogeymen man for him. He can’t get my name out of his lips,” Mahama said.

In preparation for the 2024 election, the National Democratic Congress has chosen John Dramani Mahama as their presidential candidate.

The NPP, on the other hand, is preparing for a congress at which a leader will be chosen. Dr. Bawumia is one of 10 candidates the ruling party has approved for the November 4, 2023, flagbearer election.
